Two teeth GONE!

Yep, you guessed it, we have lost 2 teeth in 2 weeks!! This one was a different story though....so, as you know from our "Dentist post", Jackson's tooth has been very loose and the dentist said that he could lose it anytime now. So, Jackson has been working on it for the last few days and today - at school - he just pulled it out!!! The class I teach in shares a bathroom with his class (it's between the 2 classes) and as I was doing circle time with my class I heard him in the bathroom saying, "It's bleeding!!". So, as a mom, I check in the bathroom to find him holding his tooth!!! He just pulled it right out!! What a big boy!!!

Here is his "lovely" picture showing you - our faithful followers - what his bottom teeth look like now (isn't this the best picture you've ever seen!!! Makes me want to frame it and put it above my fireplace - ha ha - sorry, there is no other way to capture the moment). Oh - and yes, I realize that this is the SAME shirt he is wearing in the picture where he lost his first tooth and, no, we don't wear this shirt everyday - it just seems to be his "tooth losing shirt" - HA HA HA (only I would notice such a thing!!).

So, the funny thing is what he told his daddy when we called him to tell him about the tooth. Daddy is coming in from out of town and Jackson called him to tell him that he pulled his tooth. Daddy was so excited and said, "So, Jackson, you have 2 teeth gone now?!" and Jackson says, "Yes, daddy, but don't worry - I can still eat!!". HA! Then he went on to explain that he could use the teeth on the right side of his mouth AND the teeth on the left side of his mouth!! HA HA HA What a funny little guy!! Guess we'll be seeing the tooth fairy again tonight!
