Mud ridin'

For the 4th of July weekend we did LOTS of things.....one of those things was "mud riding" with some friends!! It was the first time that the boys had gone 4 wheeler riding so it was a fun time for all of us!!! Jackson also had the opportunity to learn that if you ride with daddy, you WILL get very muddy!!!!Then we went swimming at Nan's house!!!

Random pics.....

Here are some random pics of us over the last year....there is no reasoning behind why I chose to upload these pics other than this is a way to see a little of "us"....enjoy!

Here is a picture of our house...
Looking off our front porch..That is Oak Mountain in the distance....
Brian spoke at Career Day for Jackson recently and this is him doing his presentation. Brian works for Thompson Tractor (a dealership that sells Caterpillar equipment) and he is over all of the Paving Products. I'm so proud of him and all he has accomplished (and that he takes the time for his son's class too!!!)

Jonathan turns 5!

OK - so I know it is almost July and Jonathan's birthday is in February, but it just occurred to me that we never posted for Jonathan's 5th birthday. So, here is a picture of him at his school party with his big cookie!! I can't believe he is already 5 and is going to kindergarten in just over a month. It has gone by so fast and I'm just so proud of him!!!!

Beach trip with Aunt Bef!!!

Miracles do happen.....this year my sister and I went on a small vacation with our kids to the beach. Yep, it happened and we both survived!! HA! Most of you know that my sister is 4 years older than me and we have pretty much gone down opposite roads in our lives. Not that either of us is "better" than the other - our choices have just almost always been different. So, for us to travel together, with our kids, was a big move - for both of us. However, with that said, we had a great time and I'm sure it'll happen again!!!!

Jackson is showing us his "swagger"....

My niece, Haleigh, is an awesome gymnast and LOVES to tumble - even on the beach in her bikini....I'm very proud of her and what she has accomplished!!Jonathan playing in the sand and Jackson has already started digging behind him.....
We built our own "pool" and enjoyed hanging out!!!
Then we headed to the pool for some "floating time"....here is me and my sister with my boys...
One afternoon we went to "The Track" and let the boys do the water cars and go carts...it was so fun to see the big smiles on their faces!!My sister, Beth, an Jackson....Our attempt at a family picture on the beach.....
We had such a good time with my sister and I'm sure we'll do it again soon!!!

Then they got to enjoy some ice cream sundaes and they LOVED it!! Lastly, Mrs. Cummings showed a video that summed up their year. He has grown so much this year and we are so proud of him!!!
