Well, it's over. The absolutely BEST week in a long time came to an end this evening about 7pm. Tomorrow we go back to "school" and back to our normal schedule.....until summer. The boys had a fantastic spring break. They played SO much outside - thanks to the gorgeous weather we've had!! On Saturday, Jackson even went "fishing" in the lake across the street - literally!! He had a net and was trying to catch the minnows - clothes and all!!! It is now something that he thinks he is supposed to do EVERYDAY!!
As you'll see, Jonathan was pretty exhausted from all of the excitement that was had - this is him about 15 minutes after coming inside today.....
He looks like a "little man" just chillin out on the couch!!
Another bit of excitement came today when Jackson fell while running in our neighbors yard. Apparently he tripped and fell on their brick wall. His chin is busted up pretty good but I don't think any stitches are needed. Thankfully, Mr. Lamar was on hand to get him cleaned up, a band aid, and, of course, a popcicle to make it all better (mommy was with Jonathan at another neighbor's house - I feel terrible that I wasn't there when it happened!!).
By 7pm, Jackson was asking to go to bed and he fell fast asleep. Until next time....
