The first weekend in February, we were blessed to have Brian's parents come over to Alabama to celebrate with us. The boys love it when either of their grandparents are here to visit so they were so excited to have them come. One of these days, they will come visit us and have NO projects to do; however, this trip was not the one....Papa and Brian spent some of the weekend laying floor down in our attic over the tray ceiling in our dining room. It added SO much storage space and I'm so thankful that they did this!!! Thank you, guys, SO much!!!
After the project was complete, it was time to celebrate Jonathan's birthday. We went out to eat to Outback and Jackson was being his usual "silly" self...
After we endulged ourselves at dinner, we headed home to have a "homemade" cake (it was my first time to do this and was a couple of recipes that KK had brought with her, but it turned out SO yummy!! I will definitely be making this again!!)
Lastly, here is daddy with the birthday boy - they are SO much alike it is scary and precious all at the same time!! Jonathan loves his daddy SO much!!!
