Spring Break fun with friends...

Recently we had our Spring Break and, I must tell you, it was MISERABLE!!! Unlike last year, it was HORRIBLE weather - 40 degrees and cloudy!!! Seriously, Spring Break should be warm and sunny, right?

So, most of the week we spent inside doing boring stuff (like Spring Cleaning), BUT the last day it was supposed to be sunny and 70 degrees. So, we planned a trip to go to the zoo with our friends. Well, apparently so did ALL of Birmingham and the surrounding counties!!! I have NEVER seen SO MANY CARS at the zoo in ALL of my life!!!! So, since we can go to the zoo anytime, we decided to not go to the zoo and go to the park in Homewood instead.

This park is SO COOL!!! It had so many fun things to play on and do and the kids really enjoyed it!!! Jackson actually did the monkey bars all of the way across for the first time ever!! He was so proud of himself!!! Here are some pics from the day...
